+Hi @wolfgangwe66244
-Apparently there is a hidden central 9th screw in the center of the keyboard, which prevents me from liftig it to replace the battery. Or is it a clamp ore something similar?
+There are 10 screws on the base enclosure that hold the keyboard/top cover in place.
+
+Here's the [http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05226489.pdf|maintenance and service guide], that is applicable to your model also.
+
+Go to p.42 (50 of 94 pdf) in the manual to view the procedure to remove the battery.
+
+Once you have the laptop open, just to ensure that you're getting the correct replacement battery and that it hasn't got the same part number (844203-850) for the battery as shown in the manual, locate the HP part number printed on the battery and then search online for the ''part number only'', to find suppliers that suit you best.
