Connect a voltmeter to the charger's flex cable DC output plug connector and with the charger powered on, check if there's a steady 19V DC showing on the meter, when you ''gently'' flex the charger cable where it exits the charger case and also where it enters the DC output plug connector.
If the voltage stays constant, then the charger is OK.
If it varies or disappears and then returns then there's a fractured wire in the charger's flex cable or a loose connection in the charger's flex cable plug perhaps.
What is the full model number of the laptop as shown by the product information label on the bottom of the laptop?
