I'm working on this problem with my charger as well but I chose USB-C that came with wires to solder to the chargers wire. I tried connectors with 2 wires and 4 wires and none worked On my charger the blue wire is hot and red as ground. There is also a bare uninsulated wire which is ground as well. Meter reads 4 volts with blue wire to bare wire ground. 3.4 volts with red wire to blue. It is clear that the colors don't follow the standards with regards to wire color. In my attempt to use the USB-c with 4 wires, the power/charging light does not come on. The four wires are black, white, red and green. The charger wire is red, blue and bare wire. I've tried connecting them in various combination without success. When I thought to be a simple repair to good chargers with bad connectors, it's become a problem solving issue probably not worth the trouble. However if you have a solution with what I need to replace the broken connectors, I would be greatly happy.
