To answer your question the port is fixable, but the caveot to that is that you would either need the microsoldering [link|https://www.ifixit.com/News/98168/microsoldering-beginners-guide-its-easier-than-you-think|skills] and tools or have access to someone who would have the tools and skills. You could problably find a broken motherboard and use it as doaner parts if you're cool with attempting it yourself. Otherwise you could try finding a trusted repair shop that has the tools.
