Perhaps check the weight of the eiderdown when it is soaking wet.

From what I could find online, Samsung washers weight load is rated at 1.36Kg per cubic foot of tub size.
Your model washer is a 4.5cu.ft. model so this equates to 6.12Kg.
If the eiderdown is heavier than this when it is soaking wet then this may be causing the washer to struggle when washing it.

If it is heavier than this, then perhaps you may have to gently hand wash it in a bathtub with a lot of water in it, using a mild detergent, rinse well and then gently squeeze it to get most of the water out - don't wring it, and leave it to dry in the shade. A windy day helps as well. If hanging over a clothes line, try placing it over 3 or more lines so as to spread the weight.
