I found a physically identical 2.5" speaker, but it is 8 ohms instead of 4 ohms like the original. This would reduce the output of the class AB amp. Instead I ordered speaker adhesive and a new surround to repair the original. It now sounds great again. It is a fun project if you are a little handy. To get to one of the speaker screws, you have remove one circuit board and loosen and bend over the other one. The hardest part was removing the 2 small knobs. They were really stuck on. I couple of years ago, I carefully removed the sticky, failed soft touch finish. I painted it with 2 tones of Rustoleum spray paint for plastic with a top coat of Rustoleum clear coat. It look great.
