(Stupidly) Bent pins in charging port, won't charge.

Stupidly attempted to clean lint out the port after advice online. Used a small plastic pick and after this the port no longer charges. I used compressed air after this and a different charger and now it charges. I sadly did these both at once so can't confirm the real culprit.

However, it only charges when i put upwards pressure on the outside of the charger, that is, push the lightning port gently down into the table. This to be implies that I have flattened the pins, and therefore they have been raised.

I assume all lightning ports have the same pin set up, but for sake of transparency I have a 13 pro. Is it simply a matter of using a magnifying glass and gently lifting the pins in question? I have ordered one so waiting for it to arrive but would appreciate any further advice.

Does anyone have any info as to how high the pins should be? I haven't found any macro photos online.
