Honestly, I don't think 4 hours is unusual for a MacBook of that time frame depending on how it's being used. Battery life is something that is impacted by so many factors it's difficult to estimate what's "normal." What was your battery life like before you replaced it? If it's significantly better, I would still call that a win.

Also be mindful that workload in 2017 and a workload in 2025 are not the same. Programs as well as the operating system are likely more taking on the hardware.
