I guess I need to replace the factory radio in my 2015 Jeep Patriot. Months ago I started getting nearly only static on all stations. The seek button will settle on a station, and if I by chance am able to hear any of the audio, it's actually on a different station than what it says. But most of the time I can't hear anything other than static. There was never any power interruption, and the satellite radio comes in fine, so it's nothing wrong with the speakers.[br]
I went to Car Toys and they said it would probably cost me a couple grand for a new one and for parts and labor.[br]
How difficult is it actually to find a compatible one and install it myself?
