The X button sometimes doesn't recognise when you press it.

Hello,
-I've been having an issue with my Steam Deck OLED. I bought it a month ago and it has been working well, but recently I started noticing that the X button is a bit wonky - it doesn't register my press unless I press in the exact center from the to and/or press it harder. The button isn't stuck, it isn't sticky either, it works normally just like the rest of the buttons, but unless I press it harder and from the very top, it doesn't work. I tried to open the deck to see whether there is some dirt inside or if the rubber membrane is worn out, but everything seemed completely fine and clean. I have the latest version too and have regular updates but quite frankly, this doesn't seem like an software issue to me. I feel like I've tried everything I could to find a cause of this, but to no avail. There also isn't enough fix solution for this exact problem either, it's mainly fixes for stuck/sticky buttons. but I just need to press button in a very specific way for it to work. Can you possibly give me an advice on what I can do about this problem?

One more thing I would like to add, I don't know if this is of any relevance to my problem but one never knows - when I opened my Deck, I noticed that the button connection points on the plate (for ABXY) look slightly different than what I saw on IFixIt ( [product|IF260-087] ). The small "cartwheels" on the plate have dark orange color filled in between the golden lines, but on my Deck the orange filler color is black instead. There is an obvious visual difference, and I was wondering if this indicates anything? Once again, i don't know if this is related to the issue but I still thought it's worth of mentioning this visual difference to you. I don't know if me replacing my current connection plate with the ordered one from site would fix the problem.
