@zoom68974 that is correct, the connector requires soldering. the two parts on the top are anchors (as well as ground) for the connector. The "6 little parts at the bottom" are the actual contacts. You need to make sure that you still have the solder pads on the logic board, otherwise you will need to run some jumpers. six contacts.
If you have never solder on a logic board, this may not be a good board to practice on. You will need some decent skills as well as some decent soldering tools. Don't use hot air since you will melt the connector.
