Advice regarding back glass (cover)replacement

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Dear Community!

I managed to save a very good iPhone 11 from ending up in the landfill.

There are only two issues with the phone.

# Battery is at 75% which is totally fine, I will replace it.
# The back glass is cracked on the top right corner deeply and went all the way down and to the camera area as well.

So, I was looking on Ebay for just the glass. I found numerous sellers who make “unbranded” covers. In addition, I found a special tool set as well that would be needed in order to remove the glass. It looks like a knife and you can change the tips to crack up the glass as I saw on videos. For adhesives and for the camera rings I would buy those from iFixit.

The question towards my community is the following: What should I look out for the procedure? What do you use for an easier removal? I know there is laser solution too but as I am passionately refurbishing and saving electronics I want to do it.

Currently I have the following tools that would help me in the process:

iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit, loads of spudgers, iOpener, heat gun, air blower.

Thank you for Everyone's response!
