You can shorten the internal cable-connector with a razorblade/cutter (0.1/mm) , and clear with (>***!***<)sandpaper if it's not making contact out of the box,after the procedure, after properly plug-in ,

Or changeing entire keyboard/upper assembley. I am not sure a deep clean wil even help resurect rest of the keys at this point.
