You can definitely replace the connector! You already bought the replacement part, right? Otherwise I can check where you can get one.

I recommend to use a heat gun for this. Make sure you use some kapton tape (heat resistance tape) and put it over the small component you circled in blue.

It need patience and you need to be carefull with the heat gun to get the connector off. Use flux all the time on the solder.

When it’s off, remove the solder, use flux again and put some new solder on the pads. Place the connector carefully in line on it and use the heat gun again to solder the connector in. Make sure that the heat gun is not too hot! It can melt the connector!
