I never use a dishwasher b/c my grandma hated them. Something about food traps.

I bought one of those professional Ninja blenders due to my boyfriend needing to be on a liquid diet way longer than expected.

He’s still on liquid diet. And he also hates dishwashers. We wash everything by hand. Super hot water! And air dry.

I did notice that the lid likes to stay on after use!

But I noticed if you lifted the pour cap before you need to lift the top off [and depending on what I blended & how much & what temp you blended that could affect how hard it is to get the top off. Especially if you still already had water & didn’t know in the compartments you can’t see as well as integrity of the seal(s)] ….

I noticed that if I lifted the pour cap first that made taking the top off a lot easier. Even with all the other variables.

Once I realized that, I decided to hone in on the other variables to make it a lot easier each time.

Also, even though I hand-wash that doesn’t mean water never gets into the small compartments like the release button. I try my best to reduce the amount water that gets into there now.

But still some will get in. So after I’m done I always turn it and hit the release button so the excess water just drains into the sink before I let it air dry.

Such a pain!

I hope this helps. 🙂
