I had the same problem with Samsung C460FW printer. Followed the instructions above and fixed it. In my case, the rubber piece has slid down (probably from heat) so that the solenoid (electromagnet) was always making contact (on). So, removed the old rubber piece and glued a new one on the right spot. There are several YouTube videos showing how to disassemble the printer. All the work took me several hours, including buying glue from Home Depot). The funniest part was that the previous night I watched "Buy It Now!" on Netflix and decided that I'd better fix the printer rather than buying a new one on Boxing Day.
