My steamdeck OLED randomly stopped booting correctly. I have not made any modifications recently, other than installing and adding discord into steam. I have made 0 hardware modifications to the device.
When powered on, the white led blinks continually, and touchpad haptics are active. I hear the chime on startup and the fans randomly spin up and down but there is no display.
I have tried entering BIOS, performing a firmware reset, as well as fully charging and allowing the battery to fully discharge. Shining a flashlight on the screen also doesn't show any backlight issues.
With the bios reset, I am expecting a blinking white led to report this is in progress, but this is no different from the devices new "on" state. However, when the process of volume down and "..." Being held on boot, if it is plugged in, the led endlessly blinks blue until unplugged and it returns to its "on" state.
I have contacted steam support but have not received any useful information yet. Getting desperate for any assistance.
