G4 will not power up after a local power outage-Fuse?

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

My G4 is totally dead. Flatlined.

I took it to the Geek Squad at BestBuy and they were great. He checked the power supply; OK. The motherboard, nothing. Spent the better part of an hour trouble shooting to no avail. The Geek guy was good also, he said he was a recent Mac convert. He didn't charge a dime. A class act.

My question is, could it be as simple as a main fuse? I have no idea where to look for it. There must be one on it somewhere. Also I cannot find the serial # anywhere, inside or out. I'll have to dig up the old invoice.

Thank you for any help.
