Unfortunately, it looks like there was a lot of collateral damage during the repair. This may be fixable but it may be easier to replace the whole controller at this point. I'll try to highlight it in the image below:

* (Red): Electrical traces that have been lifted up / ripped off the board
* (Orange): A component that may have been knocked off during the soldering
* (Yellow): Misc. damage to traces, pads, and vias
The prognosis isn't great, but soldering is hard and takes lots of practice to master. I would look at this this like a learning experience.
