I’ve gutted my iMac to use as a display and I’m looking to remove the Apple logo on the back to create access for a fan.
Has anyone removed the silver antenna circle from the inside and knows if the Apple on the back can be popped out/removed?

Here’s a photo of where the driver board will be positioned. There is no ventilation at the top the Mac, so removing the antenna cover and the logo would create an exit for the hot air which is directly behind chip.

***''ANSWERED!''***
I used a heat gun (hairdryer) for 1 minute and the metal shield came off pretty easily.

Another 1 minute heat application and it begrudgingly gave up an edge on the thick black logo plate.
