James, it appears as if the USB ports are on their own board, so not sure how they could come out of the case, unless they broke out of the case, which would require a whole new case. The USB ports are "held in place with a screw. There is a plastic sleeve with a brass insert that the screw gets screwed into. The plastic sleeve is attached to the bottom of the case. The insert only goes half way down the sleeve." This is the place where they like to break off. So, you could tran and get a new case, or you could use an extension USB cable and connect an external hub to it.
