I have a B212D that burns "R4 - 22ohm", reading the B215D schematic. I replaced the resistor and the cap above it (C23). Still burns. Thought maybe the woofer shorted, put in cheapie one, still burns. Any advice?
When I replaced the 22ohm resistor I powered up the speaker with one connector of the woofer disconnected and there was no smoke, it didn't get warm. Powered down and re-connected woofer lead, at power up, it started to smoke. Replaced 22 ohm again and swapped woofer with a lower powered speaker, it was an 8 ohm (same as original), smoked the resistor.
