Bit confused by your question as you said "Doesn't not show any picture even though the backlight is working and then you said "...I checked in a dark room with my flashlight to see if I could spot anything, but I didn’t."
-When turning on the TV, was there a white (light) display with no picture or did you prove the backlights are OK by some other means? Otherwise why use a flashlight to check for a picture if the backlights were on?
