Same issue for me, with exact same cable. Found a match on ebay (seller was "in-and-out-wirelss")...listing had four different options to choose from, and as noted above, the cable for the 9R was an exact match. (Make sure to look at the pictures and match to your cable). Swapped it in a couple of days ago, and it works.
