This is a result of the ***Stepper motor being damaged and slipping on the shaft***. All you have to do is simply replace the motor and it will work normally again.
It is not easy to get parts for this scanner anymore since there are no spare parts produced for it as of today, but apparently you can use stepper motors from the ***LS-40***, ***LS-4000*** works on this one too.
