Power and Custom buttons not working

Hi Have a set of XM4s, they work fine apart from the power button and custom button do nothing. I have to use NFC to turn the on, but once on they work fine.

If there a way to diagnose and fix these buttons? Will a spray of contact cleaner do any harm?
