I normally use half of a really thing needle nose tweezer and slowly and carefully slide it under the microphone, separating it from the top case. It's a little bit of a tricky technique and you have to be careful, but it's pretty reliable. Doesn't require a heat gun if you're careful and use the right tool to separate it. Good luck!
