I have a 2012 complete display assembly sitting here doing nothing..... without taking the 2010 apart, can the 2012 assembly (complete with all cables) simply be swapped over to the 2010?

A slight difference in the AirPort cards position but the cables look like they will be the same length. I think 2013-2015 will not fit to the 2010 but the 2010 being a tad longer will indeed fit to the 2012......
