Why did you originally disconnect the display connector? Was your display having issues before you disconnected and reconnected the cable? Did you disconnect the battery before you disconnected the display connector? If not, it's possible some voltage may have been present that may have damaged the display when it was disconnected. Also, the display cables on this model are pretty fragile, so it might be worth inspecting them for damage. Does the device work with an external monitor? If so you know the issue is due to a problem with the display. Good luck!
