Yeah, the screw in the first photo is totally destroyed.
What I do, is using a flat screw driver and see which one does fit in the screw and try to turn it.
You can also try the iFixit Screw Extractor: [product|IF145-118]

If none of above worked (and you already some other tricks) it's probably for the best to drill the screw out... Be really careful with this, it can damage other components!
