Sometimes you can resolve this issue by doing an [link|https://support.apple.com/en-us/102605|SMC reset] and a [link|https://support.apple.com/en-us/102539|PRAM reset]! Also you can try booting into [link|https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/start-up-your-mac-in-safe-mode-mh21245/mac|Safe Mode] or putting the new battery through a full charge cycle (charge to 100% and then discharge normally). I've had to do this after installing third party batteries before. If the message doesn't go away after taking these steps, then I would recommend trying to return the battery for a refund.
