-The cog fix was the first step. I also cut a hole bottom of the paper tray in order to make this easy to do using a dremel tool rotary cutting disc. I would like to point out that nylon and steel are not a great combination for super glue . I used a drop of E6000 adhesive on a thin wooden dowel --much better. The paper still did not grab. After this I had to use a small amount of automotive belt dressing on a swab to treat the rubber rollers behind the duplexing unit to restore their friction. This last step magical!
