@kartikchawla what you are describing is called "Ghost Touch" ;-) It is caused by an issue between the display and the touch screen. To get rid of that, you will need to get a new display assembly.

Use this guide [guide|146410] to work on that. Replacement displays are readily available at many online stores. I would opt for a replacement that has the frame already installed. It'll make it easier and faster.
