Hi @tyrellcham29227
The evaporator fan inside the freezer compartment (behind a panel at the back of the compartment) will run as long as the compressor is running but it will stop when a door (either door - refrigerator compartment or freezer compartment) is opened and start again when the door is closed. The compressor will continue to run when the door is opened though.
This is to make the cooling process more efficient by not deliberately blowing the cold air out of the compartments so there's not too much of a temperature rise inside the compartments, when the door(s) is open, making the compressor work longer to get it back down to the set temps when the door(s) are shut again.
The condenser fan (outside, underneath the compartments near the compressor), if it is operating, will run regardless of the doors being open or shut as its function is to cool the condenser coil and also the compressor.
+
+As the refrigerator is only 5 months old (is this from new?) then if you think something is wrong, get it checked out under warranty as it still should be valid at this stage.
