I slid the ice bucket in halfway, then pushed white horizontal piece in the square opening up and made sure the metal arm stayed on top of that piece, then finished sliding the ice bin in. The metal arm should rest on top of that white plastic horizontal bar. That fixed the issue for now! I believe my white plastic bar in the square opening is broken as someone had mentioned it should click when you push it down, but mine had no clicking noise when I pushed it down.
