@shantelmcguire does your AC compressor kick on? Have you checked the fuses to make sure those are working and how did you check the refrigerant?
Check the fuses and relays first. Use something like shown [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nVk4tU_MOk|shown on here] Let us know what you find out.
