Camera rear lens while using photo mode wont capture any pictures.

Camera rear lens does not capture any pictures while using photo mode. But i could take pics through portrait at 1x zoom but not 2x. I could also capture videos and panoramas. And capture through snapchat too with the default camera but not while zooming too.
