@coreenbuen41923 there is not reason why it shouldn't. The 30 pin dock connector was used on iPod's (starting from 3^^rd^^ generation), iPad and iPhone uses identical pinouts. [document|39350] Data transfer on that is accomplished through USB not Firewire for the later Generations. and should work as well. Firewire chipsets (Syncing not charging)haven't been included on iPods since the 4th gen click-wheel model.
