Unplug the micro switch that is actuated by the shifter lever. All you need to do is unplug one of the two wires but you can unplug both of you want. You can tape them up if you want. If you have a newer one that has the key with the reverse mow setting, then unplug the top plug on the ignition switch to permanently disable this stupid “feature”
