@khaki2440 you will need to replace the complete display. Use this document [document|39309] to work on it. Not terribly complicated and pretty straight forward. The LCD is still available at a few online places. Otherwise, you may have to look for a donor phone that has other issues but a working display. Then harvest the screen from that. Look for Sony part number 1242-7342
=== Update (08/26/24) ===
-@khaki2440 as was correctly pointed out, the touchscreen is separate from the LCD. Sony part number is 1249-3415 black, 1249-4115 Red and 1249-4116 for the silver. Frame and Touch Panel are identical for Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro MK16, MK16a and MK16i. You'd be looking at something [link|https://www.tanstartrade.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=5205|like this] (Check with [https://www.parts4repair.com/touch-screen-digitizer-for-sony-ericsson-xperia-pro-red/ |these people] and see if it is compatible with your model.) Quite costly since I am sure there are not a whole lot left of these. A donor phone might just be the way to go.

As for the repair, the previously attached document is still valid for this.
