Does it start and work OK in safe mode?
If also not, try the following to get into the WRE (Windows Recovery Environment) and check if you can repair the startup.
Turn on the laptop and when it starts to boot into Windows force stop it by pressing and holding the Power on button until it shuts down.
Do this 3 times in a row i.e. Turn on > boot > force stop > turn on > boot > force stop > turn on > boot etc.
On the 3rd attempt it should boot into the WRE menus. If it does select ''Troubleshoot > Advanced > Startup repair'' and follow the prompts
