Have a strange issue. My elite 2 controller is completely non-responsive when the battery is connected. Won't power on, charge, or anything. BUT it works when plugged in via usb without the battery connected. As soon as I reassemble the back plate and connect the battery, the controller is completely dead.
Useful diagnostic info:
* battery is delivering power and not damaged
* no liquid damage to controller
* no visible corrosion on battery connectors
What is going on????
