we just bought our GE Profile fridge in March the first time our milk spoiled I put a thermometer in the fridge, Noticed it got above 40 a lot so turned it down to 34, Still got above 40 called repair they came out told us they don't use air temp only liquid temp and to not put milk in the door. It did again (wasn't in the door) so we called them out and showed him the milk was 42 with a hand held thermometer he took readings with his computer to the fridge and said it was within temps. So I bought a wireless liquid temp and sealed it in a bottle of water. Yesterday the temp in the water bottle was above 41 for 6 hours we tried the booster cool that's on the fridge and that didn't bring it down in fact two hours after we turned it on the compressor wasn't even running. repair still says nothing is wrong we are done with GE went and bought another fridge (not a GE) and took the loss on the GE. Groceries are to expensive to worry about weather the fridge is working right.
