Since you did not tell us what computer you have, we can only suggest to check the BIOS to see if that still finds your boot drive. Another quick check would be to change the boot order in the BIOS to USB drive. Then get a bookable USB driver and see if your computer works with that. If so, you know you have most likely a failed drive.
