Has anyone removed the screen successfully and used as a desktop (2021 m1 max MBP 16")? I have a couple external displays and think this would be the best use of the machine. Is it as simple as removing the screen/disconnecting the cables?
1.5 years later my $4k macbook display cracked and went dead on its own. I believe the cause was a design flaw but thats here nor there! Apple's policy is any screen damage is accidental and is a $1k repair. I don't feel great dumping that money into a machine that could spontaneously crack and has me generally weary to begin with (strange hardware scratching, kernal panics, etc. [br]

Thanks![br]
