@johnwaja could be a bad LCD or a bad GPU/Display adapter etc. Start off by connecting an external monitor and see if that displays properly. If so, you know that it is your LCD display. If an external does not display either, it is possible that this is an issue with the display circuit (GPU) on your motherboard. Let us know what you find out.
