If the screen is working and you don't want to spend the money to get it fixed, you can keep using it, but I'd suggest putting a glass screen protector on it to keep from getting cut by any sharp shards of glass there may be. Otherwise you can save quite a bit of money by replacing the screen yourself; iFixit has a guide showing you step by step how to do that.

I don't know what country you are located in, but a general internet search should bring up several options for where you can purchase a replacement screen. I usually start with the big three: Amazon, eBay and AliExpress, but you will almost certainly find more if you look. Here's an example that came up on my cursory search for that part.
