@carlosfs 8 blinks leads to the SS board. Here is the trouble we are running into. Since this was a mechanical issue, we'll have to really carefully inspect all the boards but focus on the SS Board. Now the time to take a look at it has arrived :-) Unplug your TV and remove the back cover. Once accomplished, do not touch anything yet, since the capacitors can still be charged and they could pack a punch if you touch them with your bare hands. For now, just take some good pictures of your boards with your Question. that way we can see what you see.
