Rt click the network icon in the system tray. Click ***Open Network & Internet settings***

Click ***Change adapter options***

Verify that you have a wireless option and that it is enabled.

Check the devices in the DEVICE MANAGER. Rt click ***Start*** and click ***Device Manager.***

Look for something saying WIRELESS under ***Network Adapters***.

Mine says "Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 7260"

You can delete that and reboot, and Windows will redetect the hardware and reinstall the driver.

If it doesn't redetect it then the hardware has failed.

If it detects it and installs a driver but still doesn't work then you need to reinstall drivers.

If nothing shows in device manager, then your wireless adapter has died.

That is a plug in on the MB and replaceable.
