Your driver files may be corrupt.

# Download the latest nvidia driver from their website, and place it somewhere easy to get to.
# Record any custom display settings, so you can put them back after (would recommend manually recreating, as the config files could be corrupt too)
# Uninstall all the nvidia drivers, and remove all configuration data
# Reboot
# Make sure all the drivers including the directories in the program files (both of them), and programdata are removed
# Install the new driver, select custom install, and make sure the remove customization is checked.

This may resolve your issue.
